When Adaline and Nico meet they are both hard working active people. Yet when Nicolo continues working as does Adaline she gets angry. Then she decides to not have the father of her unborn child in her life. I don’t understand women like that who keep the father away from his child. She knew the type of work he did before they started. This is confusing to me. She continues to work like she wants to but he can’t. Then when he accepts her turns she gets upset. The narrator was good for the story although just a little disjointed in places. I got this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review.
