Don’t get me wrong I absolutely loved this book. I’ve heard it through podcasts when it was read by the author. But the reader here was just awful. Every character sounded angry even when they weren’t, he didn’t change his pitch or tone despite specific descriptions from the book, and the whole experience felt like it kept me on edge. Seriously if you want to listen to the series get them free from Podcast don’t waste your credits.
