This is a great book and I have read many of Nathan Lowell’s books and thoroughly enjoyed every one. I have enjoyed the prior series so much that I have listened to it several times while working. Here is my issue… The original series is narrated by the author and he did a great job. I am not impressed with this narrator at all. First off, he sounds like he should be narrating a James Spade detective novel. But most of all I have issues with the pronunciations he uses. The author has narrated his own books, there should be no issue with pronunciations. All you have to do is listen to the original works. This guy has mangled names, places and terms throughout the book. While many would say ” Just enjoy the narrated book” every time I hear him mispronounce something it drives me nuts and is ruining the experience for me. It might me petty and to many it will be a non issue but if you have listened to any of Mr. Lowell’s narrations and then listen to this guy, you will be disappointed in the narration.
