If you are looking for a new series and enjoy a new take on a cultivation novel, this is the one for you.

Book Review:
This book starts off a bit slow as it lays the foundation for the series, but it is honestly a pretty great stand alone book of a boy fighting to overcome his rather bad circumstances. Somehow I never reviewed this the first two times I listened to it, but now that I came back for my third time in the last two years I figured I definitely should.

Reading Review:
Travis is awesome at his reading job and does a good job with making voices distinct and good inflection. He has read for three of my top five favorite series at this point and if you enjoy cultivation/litRPG then you it would probably be good to check out some of his other works.

Series Review:
I have listened to this series twice already and decided it has been long enough (a bit more then a year) I am not weird for giving it another go… this is probably my favorite series right now and I am very glad to have found Will Wight since the Travelers Gate series is also in my top five as well. I will admit that the Bloodline book is a bit more of a filler book but I understand why it was needed to be that way, Reaper made up for it though with some pretty epic revelations and good action.
