Great book, but David Stifel would you please never try to do a black voice again. And whoever wrote that particular story, I’m an African-American man and have been around since 1973. Never in my life have I ever heard anyone refer to a white person as a “jive honkey” outside of a 70s blacksploitation film where the producers encouraged the actors to be “more black”. We don’t talk like this, and frankly it’s a little offensive that you think we do. These are really good stories though, so I’m gonna let you guys slide.
