This book has such beautiful storytelling that engages from page one. Sometimes stories on this subject matter can be a little “high school” feeling aka whiney, but Cas is a powerful main character that is deep, complicated, and surprisingly hilarious. I believe anyone of any age will connect with this book, especially if you’ve had a complicated relationship with a co-dependent.
This story was so refreshingly genuine, and it’s amazing that the voice actress was able to enhance this so well with her delivery. A perfect match; a great experience.
