This is my first book from this author and this series. It can be read as a standalone, but I am looking forward to reading the others in the series. It was an emotionally M/M novel in the series that takes us through Luke’s discovering his sexuality and developing a hidden relationship with Tristan. He is afraid what his family/people will say if he come out. It has some great insight of how hard it is for some to come out to their friends and family. Also the danger they can be in when they do.
After everything they went through the love they shared was so beautiful. If you haven’t read this I highly recommend you do.
I listened to the audio version of this book narrated by David Allen Vargo. This is also a new narrator to me. He did a great job. Thx to VPR for chance to listen and review it.
