As a medium-haul truck driver, audible is my primary source of entertainment during my workday. The Black Ocean series, while I wouldn’t call it groundbreaking, is pretty good space opera fiction. For anyone looking for some solid space fantasy entertainment, I don’t think you can go wrong here.

That asode, the major selling points are twofold, especially if, like me, you spend long hours on the road (or otherwise have lots of free “ear time”):

1. The narrator is fantastic; consistent and distinct character voices and a solid performance throughout. I’m adding him to my list of favorite narrators.

2. An INCREDIBLE amount of content for your audible credit(s). Once you finish the Galaxy Outlaws collection, there’s 60+ hours of Astral Prime and 90+ hours of Mercy For Hire. There’s more beyond that, but just with those collections, that’s at least 250 hours of content for 3 measly credits. You can’t beat it.

Highly Recommend for thise points alone.
