I loved this story. Poe and Jericho had an unusual relationship, since Jericho was Poe’s boss and also his father’s best friend. There were moments that I felt that Poe was acting too immature or that Jericho was acting too fatherly, but the characters felt this way themselves and corrected their attitudes. The daddy kink was fun, and the information about tagging and tattooing were fascinating to me. I wanted to slap Poe’s friend Blue then hug him. I really liked Poe and Jericho, and the authors made sure I understood them. I felt that the major secondary characters were well also well developed. I hope to see book 2 sometime soon!
The narrator’s performance was excellent. I’ve listened to him before and will happily do so again.
