Kirt Graves gives another amazing performance narrating this book.
TJ, is a master story teller. His imagination is way out there and yet he can engage me to follow along with him. This is one long book, 20 hours & 18 minutes. Long enough that at the end I was OK that it was finished. But the story will continue into at least another book. There are glimpses of the next one in the epilogue and its going to be epic. There is just enough closure with this book that you don’t feel it’s a GD cliffhanger. But you yearn for the next book to come out soon.
There is too much that happens in this to begin to describe the story and everything is interrelated such that telling one thing leads to another and soon you have given away a spoiler.
Rico is for me the best comic relief and I always love when he is in a scene. Of course I continue to love Ox, I have learned to love Gordo (especially because he is a softy under that exterior). I still have issues with Mark and Elisabeth and how they could leave Gordo…obviously their Alpha made them, but still, I have issues.
Highly recommended if you like suspense.
