I enjoyed the concept alot in the first set of books. in the first series even the antagonists were somewhat likable. In this series no one is likeable. spoilers ahead… There is also a major plot flaw. One of the main characters is killed due to a trap set for him that the other character couldn’t have anticipated (he didn’t know that twinborn existed. or that the prisoner he had was twinborn or that he would have been able to relate his location to his twin. Also there was so much more to explore the series ends very quickly and tidily. I loved the concept but not the execution.
