Good story,
The narration of the main character was a little off-putting at first but all things considered fits the character well. (So don’t let that deter you.) That said, I somehow found myself starting on the third book in this series (this book) and after having read it plan on reading the rest. I recommend the book for a neat twist on the old gumshoe novels with a sci-fi twist. My biggest complaint would be the censorship of swear words with near swears. Fonk for fuck, shiz for shit etc… it’s a bit offputting in the gitty setting.
