I stopped listening to this one and then picked it up again a week or two later. The writing that seems to be explanatory combined with the narration made it hard to get into this book for me. I’m glad I did try again though because I did enjoy the book. I felt the end time events were compressed but I liked the characters. I cannot imagine how American police and military could turn on American Christians, but the idea that the federal government could use foreign security contractors has merit.
