I enjoyed my time listening to World Tree Online. This is my first audio book with multiple narrators and I must admit I enjoyed it thoroughly. The cast added a depth and richness to the characters that I enjoyed. Overall the book was a nice one that I enjoyed.
The Cons and why I took off a star. This book is rather sparse on the details. the game mechanics apart from death, pain and the numerous ways they could be inflicted were barely touched on. And the spell creation felt more like an excuse to justify unique spells than an actual meaningful part of the game. Perhaps I am spoiled by the web novel Mother of Learning but i enjoy when a world has a good system of magic / game play that is clearly defined and even explored.
