Good story. Great narration.

I enjoyed this book even more than the first one. Plenty of twists and turns in the cases Jimmy is working. His love life seems equally twisty. I enjoyed getting to know Jimmy’s family and the rest of the cast of characters. Even the villains are interesting.

The pacing of the story and the crime noir feel are a good reason to listen to this book. Joel Leslie’s narration is nicely performed, and I have already started on the next book.
