If you enjoyed the first book of the series, you will enjoy this one. The story continues to focus on the fact that Alec is “The Key”. His continuing romance with Cronin is equal parts sweet and steamy. I appreciated the combination of history and supernatural elements of the story, but I found a few logic flaws in the plot. The narration was performed well, and the various voices that Joel Leslie creates seem well suited to the characters.
