Good story. Good narration.

I enjoy CF White’s book series. The one-shot stories are a nice read, but you don’t get a chance to see the characters evolve in the same way as the longer series. This book was a nice blend of the two because we get a story about a small town bartender who just happens to be from the London Lies series. You don’t need to read the series to get to know Declan, but if you did, you will get a chance to see his story.

As usual the narration was by Piers Ryman was wonderful, and I am looking forward to the next audiobook in this themed series of standalone books.
