it annoys me that at the tail end of an 18h story that it ended so meh.
the last 5 min of the book if reworded would have made the story much better.
seriously … you just said wall would get to current location in what 2 hours … and then you ignore you said that and have MC fly off ? to go to every city … on a gryphon … while actively maintaining the portal … only staying active as suggested by the fact that he has a scepter equipt and is raging…. come on now … why ?
so in 2 hours the source code bomb destroys the portal or simply overtakes it making it inaccessible to the people and likely allowing the infection to spread to another world …
wtf.
here is the how it should have ended version.

MC looks to wolf and says well come on buddy let’s go and they walk through the portal together. come what may we meet it together.
