When I began this book, I was uncertain about the narrator. she doesn’t do a bad job, but it is a little slow and I had to speed up the audio a little bit. The story is quite good, except it is held back by the conclusion of the Lady Lincoln issue. which seemed rushed. There were also many, many times during the story where I rolled my eyes and thought, “Oh my god get over it Amelia, you’re being freaking ridiculous”. Her whining was really irritating and that’s really the only thing that brought this down from five stars.
