I loved the Rydeville Elite series but Charlie was not one of my favorite characters by the end of the series but I enjoyed getting to hear his story and hearing about others from the series while it is a standalone I think it would be enjoyed more if you start with book 1 of the series as the story does tie into each other and gives you a better idea about what’s going on in the world they live in. The female narrator did an amazing job I did not care for the male narrator
