- Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
- I would definitely recommend this audiobook to a friend if they were looking to read or listen to the series. As a standalone, it’s good, but definitely doesn’t tie anything up and leaves you wanting more. It was a different twist on the typical dystopian zombie story.
- What did you like best about this story?
- I just found that the story flowed really well. The author set the stage well for the next installment of this series. I feel like I’m getting to know the characters and I want to see what happens with Penelope and learn her story. I also want to see what happens with the quest that the Tom is on. Will he succeed? Probably eventually. I definitely want to hear more to learn the how though!
- Which character – as performed by Andrew B. Wehrlen – was your favorite?
- I didn’t really have a specific favorite character. I suppose if I had to pick one, it would be Penelope. You can see her start to evolve in this book and she obviously has some sort of remaining human consciousness that left me wanting to learn more about her.
- Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
- I didn’t have an extreme reaction. This isn’t really a laugh, cry, etc. kind of book. It’s death, disaster and chaos of the zombie kind.
- Any additional comments?
- I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
