So this story hinges on the capability of digitalized consciousness systems and their interactions with regular people in a post technology golden age. The elements are all great. I even liked the bad stuff that happened in the story. But, it just never clicked for me. I’ve been in a funk recently so that may have contributed to that reality for me. But I would still recommend it to space opera and military sci-fi fans.
