Let me start by saying I loved the book, however I have to say the scenario the author uses to create the shtf situation seems both more realistic and somehow more exaggerated than your normal shtf novel. That aside this is a captivating book, the reader does a fantastic job, I own some of the gear referenced in this book and was glad to hear that he was using attainable equipment rather than outlandish things no average Joe could have. If you’re on the fence about this book then do it. It doesn’t disappoint.
