I can suspend my belief pretty well.. I mean, I’m listening to a book about people living in VR with dragons. With that being said there are still things in this book that make you scratch your head and say “wtf”. Kinda lazy plot pushers sprinkled in to drive the story in a certain direction. BUT, even with those few offputting moments the story is engaging and keeps you mostly interested. I’ll pick up the next book at some point.
