Good second book. Nice extension to the series.

If you liked the Opus story you will like the next adventure in the story line. Of course, Kevin Pierce is the best narrator of these kind of stories. My only thought on the context of the story is that the villain knew them both (possible spoiler). I know it’s a possibility, but the connection is a little farfetched for my taste. I loved that Mr. Craven used real world places like the prepper convention and meeting other real-world writers. I found it to be a nice nod to them. With so many apocalyptic books out there, I decided to pick an author and read (listen) to all of their books then move to another. I started with Mr. Craven and have not been disappointed.
