This was recommended to me because of the slew of Lit RPG books I have read and listened to since I went down the DCC rabit hole. I was hesitant to get it at first because of all the now, “standard” Lit RPG/isekai that have flooded the market, BUT I am glad I did.
The characters are great and definitely have their own personalities, some I can see why are like or disliked for that matter, but definitely still great. The inteo had me pulling over to crack up on my way to work, always a good sign, and many more such moments as the story went on.
I can see lots of potential for future rabit holes, theories, references, and many a ship in the future, and as to not spoil anything, I will just say there are for sure going to be heated debates and much fanfic incoming.
I am greatly looking forward to the next book. Now, to immediately reread!
