The majority of books in this genre just plain suck, and this book is no exception. The plot drags on, the characters are one dimensional and the dialogue is almost impossible to endure.In fact, it did become impossible to endure, and I quit listening before finishing the entire book. Moreover, the fact that Kevin Pierce narrates so many prepper fiction books, tells me just how low the standards are for this genre. His delivery is wooden and awkward, he has no ability to do accents, and he makes women sound like caricatures. There’s a good reason you’ll never hear him narrate books by main stream authors.
