It’s been quite a while since I started listening to something that put my whole day on hold. This story did the trick, though! Right from the top I was completely drawn in by Robinson’s characters and the bizarre and thrilling situations they kept finding themselves in. I found this tale to be highly unique and difficult to guess at what might happen next; I also thought the characters were so fully fleshed out, that I felt I knew them even before midway through. Jeffry Kafer delivers a truly phenomenal performance, absolutely nailing the accents with perfection and (seeming) ease! ‘Forbidden Island’ is one story I might actually have to listen to again, to really get the full effect! I would recommend this one to absolutely anyone who enjoys horror/mystery/thriller genre content.
