First, this is not Firefly. Built on the same premise but a completely different soul. Its a lot sillier, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Just saying I didn’t love Firefly because of the construct but because of the balance of the humor, grit, and emotion.
Being said the characters good and likeable, stories we’re mostly entertaining, and I really enjoyed the novel system of magic and science. Narrator was great, although went slightly too cartoony with a couple voices.
Didn’t like Esper(sp?) almost from the start, always seem to have way too much moral influence over an outlaw group to fit. Biggest knock is they never really made good cash from a job, no real wins that didn’t turn into a loss, but they always seemed fine.
Definitely worth a credit
