I didn’t listen to the first book, but I knew what happened without doing so. To be honest, I like those kind of books that you don’t have to listen to all in the series.
I found this a good listen, although a bit predictable. You knew what was next or at least an idea of what was coming. This didn’t interrupt my listening or make me want to stop it.
The characters were very well developed as well visual through the narrator. I love this narrator as well. He does a great job of separating characters.
I’m looking forward for the third book. This was great listen.
