story continues well. more story than survival, but it plays out more like a movie. i think i would also cut out the long winded stuff also. i dont think it would take much more than a small confrontation and time to think for people to be put on guard, and stay there until safety felt secured. having characters that do dumb things makes the reader feel superior. i feel that takes away from the story’s options.
