I was entertained by this story, but the beginning was rather slow. Nate was great at videogame simulations, so he and five other cadets were given the privilege of entering an actual competition, when a rebellion erupted, and things became real. There was a lot of time spent on setting everything in motion, but the tale ended on a strong action-filled event. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. Andrew B. Wehrlen’s narration was fine, and his performance kept my attention. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
