What would have made Delvers LLC better?
TheStory feels cobbled together, but not well. Very little charecter development. It was like listening to somebody tell you a story about a very unremarkable D&D session they played this one time.
What could Blaise Corvin have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Be a better writer? Or maybe get more experience? Not sure.
What does Jeff Hays bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Jeff nailed it. He managed to actually bring some life into this. Great narration
What character would you cut from Delvers LLC?
Any of them. it’s like a grab bag of bad tropes without any sort of building on top to make the tropes at least developed.
Any additional comments?
I tried to like it. Went all the way through, and I felt like I was getting a poorly abridged version of a better story. Jeff did a great job, and tried to breathe some life into this, but it’s still a paint by numbers book of meh. Starting with a template is fine, but if yiure going to do that, you have to at least do some development work yourself.
