Some terrible writing makes this book tough to listen to. The inner monologues are grating and repetitive and the characters can get annoying. Personally I’m not a fan of sound effect (echo when characters are speaking to themselves in their head) and if someone snorts or laughs them I’d rather hear the mirth in the words rather than an attempt at a snort or laughter
It’s a shame, as the idea for the book is quite interesting. I still want to know what happens next
