The first book came free with my membership so I had nothing invested. I don’t often then buy the next in the series but I have and will comment accordingly. The story is very plausible and doesn’t invoke magicians or involve war. I related to the characters and none of the sub plots were overdeveloped. It’s almost up there with the Bobaverse early books and ahead of the Expeditionary Force. Still listening and thank you for a good story.
