I really enjoy this book. I can see some of what the negative reviews state about it being too PG or getting into the weeds of how the gods work, but I enjoy how it is done. This book is almost as much about the gods as it is about Sir Crabby, so the world building does play a part, plus I like the humor and periodic references. For the person who wrote a negative review about the references being dated; they might be out of date for gen Z or younger millennials, but for those of us pushing 40, they are just right.
It can have some slower spots at the beginning, when everything is getting set up, but it must be disorienting to suddenly find yourself sapient and in the spirit realms.
