It is slow, no super power ups or skipping ranks. It’s a slow grind that 99.9% of cultivation novel’s skip. Our Mc is a minor character in the grand scheme of things and that’s what makes it so good, he doesn’t have all the answers does solve all the problems or anything like that. I liked it personally.
