Disclaimer: I was provided a complimentary audible version of this book by Soundbooth Theater in return for an honest review and rating.

The audio performance was exemplary, which is unsurprising coming from Soundbooth Theater. As far as dungeon core stories go, this book took some new chances with a cloud environment and novel creature mobs. I enjoyed the relationship between Kers (the dungeon) and the dungeon fairy quite a bit. I am usually not a regular reader of dungeon core stories or base-building books or games in general. My taste lean far greater into the following the actual heroes of LitRPG than the obstacles. We do get a team to root for with some compelling and interesting personalities which I am sure develop in the next entry of the series. While this book isn’t really what I prefer as a subgenre of LitRPG, anyone who enjoys sentient dungeon stories should find something they like here. If you enjoy the crunchy aspects of LitRPG base-building, this is a great option for you.
