I loved this book! Evangeline is a total bada** heroine. She a fallen angel who wants to help humanity. Xai is our hero and he is also a strong character. He comes off as a jerk but everything he does, he does for a reason. I loved these two. I loved that they thought fighting was foreplay. I love that they were good beings with bad attitudes.
I just learned that this author has an immortal curse series and I am picking that up ASAP.
