First off let’s start with the fact I scored this book for $2.45 with a coupon I had from audible, so i was willing to take a chance on it. While the first book does not have the world building I’m used to (Desden files) for magic it still presents a fully fleshed world that is interesting and the plot has you invested in the characters. To be honest while short at less than 7 hours and not my favorite book this one is worth the credit and I was so sad that the next books are not on audible yet. I am eagerly awaiting them being added.
