34 hours later, I can say that the first duet in the Abbs Valley series felt a bit too long.
The writing is solid, but at times the story lacks depth.
We now have six boyfriends, which is a bit overwhelming and unnecessary, to me. It disrupted the dynamic. I flet that the development of the male characters were rushed or left down because no more room for them (literally and figuratively).
While the smut is definitely well written, I found myself missing the focus on the plot.
However, it’s important to remember this is just the first duet, and the writing is still evolving. I’m confident it will improve from here! 😍
