The story is interesting and is based mostly from the captains point a Cole. Though his AI buddy is also the point of view in a few places.
The story while interesting could use some editing. There are a few issues the flow and the AI’s power is all over the place inconsistently.
Personally I thought this was supposed to be a buddy flick between the Captain and the AI. The AI is initiated and ‘born’ sentient. This is the only true AI and likely the only thing close. There is nothing like him. Which feels odd.
