Good, but not for me

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Overall, not my cup-of-tee, but if you’re a Conan fan I think this would be an excellent listen.

I was never a huge Conan the Barbarian fan growing up, I’d get bored of the movie and just move on to something else. If you liked that movie you’ll love this, it’s everything I remember about those movies, just with an Axe instead of a sword. I’m not sure what I don’t catch in that genre, but something about it just doesn’t really hold my interest. The action scenes are a fun listen, and the overall story is done well, not the strongest, but it holds up well.

The Narration is solid, this is the second book I’ve heard from this narrator and I tend to forget it’s just one person. He’s that good, a really enjoyable listen.
