Just like the awakening series, twisted paths of intrigue and power pave the way to hours of good listening. The steampunk vibe was a nice touch as well. That being said, the MC was such a selfish, horrible, and grating person that I actually started to root for the bad guys until the introduction of more interesting and relatable characters. Overall, totally worth the credit.
