This book is pretty well written, and I do like the characters involved, but the story feels…lacking. The LitRPG elements are hard to keep track of and uninteresting, and the one interesting gimmick (MC being non-combat combatant) doesn’t last very long. I’m sure someone who doesn’t have a genre saturation as thorough as mine would quite enjoy it, but it’s not for me.

Soft recommendation.

P.s. That review about made up cuss words? They’re totally off the mark. Traditional(?) swearing is used quite often, and the few custom(?) swears used add color to the world, rather than being annoying or anything. YMMV but I think its a non-issue.
