Bella J is my new favorite writer when it comes to dark sexy alpha males! I wish she’d choose a different male narrator. He speaks with one, gruff angry tone. Never changes his inflection, even during smexy or emotional moments. There are so many talented male narrator’s, please choose a different narrator for the last 2 books.
I’ve listened to 2 books in this series so far with this reader and that’s all I can handle. I read the ebooks of this series and decided to try the audio versions but I’ll have to finish with the ebooks for the rest of the series. (I also noticed all of her books are performed by the same man. Ugh)
The female narrator is good but her performance is overshadowed by how bad he is. I’d give her 3.5 stars.
I’d rather have her read the whole book than the male read any of it.
Good book, good characters, great world.
