This is a good book. Not great, but good. I like the premise. I like the characters. I like the involvement of God.
What I disliked was the inability to have a great and grandiose story arc. Yes there were stories and there were troubles, but nothing that really caused you to think the characters weren’t going to win in the end.
The reading was very monotonous and his rendering of rounded characters was awful.
Hopefully the second book is an improvement although I will listen to something else in-between. (Due to not being totally captivated of going on and engulfed.)
