Ok, this was kinda interesting. It was about Zack, a computer hacker, who hacked into some 60 year old files about physics who were in a group who were trying to reach aliens. And he had barely sent the papers and tapes and pictures off to all the newspaper before the men in black were on him, not even a block away from his apartment.

I liked all the players: Hicks, Katie, Kaylan, and Hunsicker but I didn’t like Redford from the git-go. I guess you always have to have an jerk in most books.

It was mostly about the Athena heading to Pluto where an alien building had been photographed and messages had been sent for the past 60 years, in code. It was also about all the things that went wrong and of the people that got killed but there were no aliens until the last chapter of the book, along with a black-hole. This was 276 pages of getting set up for the next book. LOTS of unanswered questions. So, yeah, a CLIFFHANGER that I didn’t know about. I just read 4 books that were cliffhangers by this author so I’m not sure if I want to do that again. I’ll think about it.

There was no sex and the F-bomb was used 1 time.

As to the narration: Wonderful! Jeff Hays did a fantastic job on the male and female voices both and with all the emotions required, even clearing his throat when it was called for, and laughing and whispering and yelling in anger and everything else.
