I enjoyed James Summer’s ‘True Conviction’ book. It is an odd mix of ruthless killing and moral integrity. The idea is that anyone the MC kills has it coming. I’m okay with that in general. The story is good, action sequences are fine, and character development is pretty good. No sex, which is great, and I did not notice any excessive profanity. My criticism is that the shots and knife throwing are too good even for our super hero. Shooting expert marksman single shots from both hands simultaneously is a stretch. Likewise, one of the plot themes was also a stretch for me. Regardless, I will likely continue the series since overall it was enjoyable and I want to see how the MC develops.
