This was a really good read I have had this book for awhile and I am kicking myself for not reading or listening to it sooner. Jonas Davenport returned to the US after being in Paris for four years he will be opening an art studio. Ex-cop Mace Calhoun is working for an underground syndicate that seeks to get justice for the innocent by taking the lives of the guilty and his next target is Jonas. This book had me yelling at my kindle at Mace I just knew that Jonas was not the man that he thought he was and Mace knew it that was why he couldn’t pull the trigger. Navy SEAL Cole Bridgerton has come home to the discovery that the younger sister Carrie who ran away from home eight years earlier is lost to him forever. When he comes looking for answers from Jonas we begin to find out some of the things that Jonas has went through when his parents put him out at the age of 14 for being gay. Mace feels the spark for both of the men the moment that he meets both of them. Cole who thought he was straight is confused he has never been attracted to other men before, but he can’t stop thinking either man. Jonas begins to feel things that he has never felt before. When the truth comes out they realize that he is being set up and one of Mace’s teammates is behind it. This was a really good read with some hot sexy scenes in it with these three. With the hit out on Jonas Cole and mace will do anything to keep him safe with the help of Mace’s boss Ronan. These three men have a lot of baggage when Cole is shot protecting Jonas Mace finally reaches out to his parents who drop everything to be there for him. Mace help’s Cole father get sober so he can be there for his son. This was a really good read with no errors in grammar or spelling I read and listened to this book at the same time. I am looking forward to doing the same for the next book Ronan.
